How To Use Plants In Interior Design

Interior decoration of home with plants is s modern technique. Plants give creativity to our home. Plants can be placed in an area or corner of the home even on the walls to that’s the uniqueness of decorating a home with plants. Here are some great ideas on how to incorporate plants in your home décor;

Empty Spaces;

There are always some empty spaces and corners in our houses which need to be fixed, where no furniture and other things fit. So we can decorate that corner with plants.

We can use ceramic pots, containers to fill out empty spaces.

Hanging;

If you have very limited space in your home you can hang pots onto your walls. It will brighten up the area and give aesthetic value to your home.

But they should be stuck to the wall properly so that they do not fall off on someone. Use plastic pots for hanging purposes, instead of ceramic ones. Then they won’t smash if they fall. If you have a plant that is hanging from a wall, please remember to keep trimming it back. You don’t want it to be top-heavy.

Plant Wall;

If you want to make your home look more modernized you can use plants on the walls. Decide your size and shape and make your home look more grandiose. We have all seen buildings outside in big cities with plants covering walls. So why not do it to your home. It looks so much better on the outside of the house than Ivy. You can recreate plant walls inside by placing loads of shelves on a wall and covering the walls with flowers and plants. Then none of the original wall is seen.

Hallways;

Decorate your hallway with fresh plants and blooming flowers that would look very inviting for your guests. It would be very welcoming when they open the front door to a fresh and invigorating plant-filled hallway. Plants are always so inviting to guests.

Patio;

If you don’t have a proper green garden and you only have a small patio garden. Make sure you fill it with patio plants in ceramic pots. Utilise the walls and fences around the patio garden. Make it bright and colourful. But be careful not to overfill it with plants and make the area look too small.
